Creator Chronicles Unlocks, potions, and early gear
Materials sit in the chest until you spend them on the next recipe, not on the auction.
Almost every new line in Creator Chronicles is locked behind a material you already made or a drop you already sold. Hover a grey recipe: it names the stack you need. Click it when the stack exists. This page is the opening unlock chain for herbs, potions, food, ores, and the first dungeon drops testers actually saw. It is not a thousand-row database. Steam copy for the full Early Access build talks about more than 1,000 craftable items; the public demo and CBT notes only prove the early chain. We do not invent legendary names.
Lock the stack before you craft the next one. The economy guide explains why the auction will steal kudzu at 3x speed. The village guide explains which building eats which stack.
Herbs and the farm
A farm without fields is a shed. Fields grow herbs. An herbalist (Lettuce in the early roster) plants if you let them; you can also right-click-drag to plant by hand. Set target counts, then lock:
- Kudzu (set higher, around 25 in tester notes) for root oil.
- Calming flower, mugwort, and magic grass for the alchemy lab unlock.
- Clover for lesser health elixir.
Profession level equals member level. If root oil wants Alchemy 3, send Seran through Hidden Swamp until the number matches. The profession ranks explain why Herbalism and Alchemy lead the morning.
Potions and the lab
The alchemy lab is where an alchemist turns herbs into drinks. The first two potions unlock with the building. The next two wait on clover and magic grass. Set four basics to about 10, lesser health elixir higher (around 20), and lock them. Lesser health elixir is a mine unlock ingredient. Mana elixir shows up once you have been in the swamp; do not sell the first bottle.
Party Strategy potion rules arrive with the 14 September 2026 full client. Until then, the log after a wipe tells you whether anyone drank. See combat.
Food, windmill, and the mine
Bread loaf is the first buy. Fish pie and roasted ribs show up as chronicle tasks. Root oil unlocks the windmill. Windmill plus a cook (Kanji) turns grain and meat into food miners will actually eat. Right-click the sea for catfish, spend ten to unlock bass, lock bass toward 40 if a building still wants fish.
Dungeon ribs drop in Hidden Swamp. Lock them for roasted ribs. The dungeons page is the cave; this page is why you do not auction the bone pile.
North mine unlock wants food plus lesser health elixir. Ore chain: copper, then tin, then silver, then gold. Unlock one, lock one. Right-click the mine for a manual swing if the miner is fishing. A blacksmith (Confidence) waits on bars, not on a screenshot of the mountain.
Early dungeon gear testers named
Demo footage from Hidden Swamp listed starter drops such as a buckler, pirate clothes, a raptor sword, and a red staff. Those are low-level swamp toys, not a raid bis list. Class weapon families stay the same: Warrior wants shield and sword, Hunter wants bow or gun, Mage wants staff and book. See character creation for the kit table and the class rankings for who should wear the first rare.
If a recipe is still grey, you sold the mat or you never cleared the cave that drops it. Pause, open the unlock tooltip, and compare the chest. The full Early Access store blurb also promises about 30 dungeons and 100-plus monster types; those numbers are launch-scale, not a demo checklist. Confirm the date on the launch notes and the scope on Early Access.
Craft what the next building or the next three-person party needs. Everything else can wait until 14 September 2026, when demo saves are already gone.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for new guild masters.
How do I unlock a grey recipe?
Hover it, gather the named mat, then click. Lock that mat on the auction first.
Which potion should I stock for Hidden Swamp?
Lesser health elixir at a minimum. Send an alchemist through the cave so profession level rises; see dungeons.
Where do ribs come from?
Hidden Swamp drops. Lock them for roasted ribs instead of listing them. The village planner uses them on the food path.
Is there a complete item database?
Not on this wiki. Store copy claims 1,000-plus crafts in Early Access. We only list the opening chain proven in demo and CBT notes.
Who should wear the first sword?
A Warrior or Knight tank. Rank the seat on the class list before you hand a staff to your only healer.
